There are few other iconic staples which can hold a candle to buffalo wings at any get-together, whether it's for the big game or just a casual hangout with friends. It's no surprise they hold a special place in peoples party hearts. They're crispy, juicy, and oh-so-tasty! (Especially when made with our pasture raised chicken wings) And we have a wonderful recipe for you below.
Ingredients
- (12) Chicken Wings
- (1 Tablespoon) Baking Powder
- (1 Teaspoon) Salt
- (2 Teaspoons) Garlic Powder
- (1/4 Cup) Hot Sauce
- (1/4 Cup) Butter, unsalted and melted
- (1 Tablespoon) Brown Sugar
Directions
- Thoroughly pad dry the chicken. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and set a wire rack over the pan. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together the baking powder, salt, and garlic powder. Throw in the wings and toss to coat the wings. Arrange wings on the wire rack.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then flip the wings and bake for another 25 minutes or until crispy.
- While the wings are cooking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add your favorite hot sauce (most commonly used is Frank’s Hot Sauce). Stir until well combined.
- Once the wings are done cooking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
- Serve the wings hot, with celery and blue cheese dressing on the side if desired. Enjoy!
